On April 2, 2019, the closing event of the “ERA-NET Cofund Call Smart Cities and Communities” (ENSCC) took place in Vienna.

As part of the program, our research project smart commuting was funded by JPI Urban Europe (2016-2018).

The event offered the possibility to share results of the projects and to discuss the results as well as communication and exploitation follow-up activities. Project members were able to identify opportunities for future collaboration within a lively exchange between the project leaders and selected project participants as well as with representatives of the program management.

Project leader Teemu Surakka (Aaalto University) and Marlene Doiber presented the main smart commuting project results and discussed them in a workshop.
