The department new mobility works interdisciplinary on research, development and implementation of innovative and integrated mobility solutions. In the mobility research demographic and gender aspects are the foundation of pioneering solutions. We follow the vision of smart cities, as well as zero-emission, intermodality, multimodality and ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) in rural areas. In addition, transport infrastructure assessments (economic, environmental & social assessment), site assessments (such as multimodal accessibility analysis) and strategic transport planning provides new ground for implementation of innovative mobility solutions.
