coop:mob
Content

Within coop:mob a cooperative inter-generational mobility model will be developed, in which a share/exchange modus will enable a "vehicle use" for "provision of driving services" in form of natural services. It means that in rural and peripheral areas the mobility chances of two disadvantaged population groups – the elderly, who do not want/cannot drive themselves and young, low income families with children – will improve. Mobility resources (unused vehicle) and social resources (free time for shopping etc.) will be linked in a practical way so that autonomous mobility of these two groups can be sustained. Thus "mobility poverty" can be counteracted. This model will also support the inclusion of these two groups. In a selected model region the possibilities of application of this social model (use potential, guaranteed fairness in exchange of services, organizational structure, legal issues) will be surveyed with the help of qualitative research methods and later implemented as coop:mob prototype.
