e-mobil is mobile anyway and everyone should know that. For this reason, an interactive activation programme is being developed to improve knowledge of the possibilities and benefits of e-mobility among young people in the 14-25 age group and to promote acceptance of different forms of mobility - especially active forms of mobility, shared mobility and climate-friendly forms of electric mobility.

The market penetration of electric vehicles is still low, even though there are several models with different ranges and in different price classes now. Also in 2019, the range of vehicles has been expanded by a large number of models. In order to achieve a shift from trips with conventionally powered vehicles to electrically powered vehicles, to reduce the ownership of fossil-fuelled vehicles and to achieve a reduction in vehicle ownership, targeted and target group-specific awareness raising is required. Many studies emphasize the higher acceptance of technological innovations and the higher affinity for technology of the so-called Generation Z.

The overall social goal of "e-mobil is mobile anyway" is to shift from trips with conventionally powered vehicles to electrically powered vehicles, to reduce the ownership of fossil-fuelled vehicles and to increase knowledge about and acceptance of e-mobility. The target group is young people aged 14-25 years.

A concept for suitable information and communication instruments for young people consisting of analogue and digital components will be developed and tested, which will lead to a better understanding and higher acceptance of electric mobility. In addition, the knowledge and skills to use the service mobility away from the individual means of transport are to be promoted. Young people will become multipliers for the dissemination of e-mobility among their peers but also among adults close to them.

The result is an interactive activation programme with analogue and digital elements, which increases the knowledge, interest and acceptance for e-mobility and sharing among young people and addresses them as a future user group. The interactive activation programme consists of a short fact-check on e-mobility, an electric rally to test vehicles and services of different providers, and a video challenge with the aim of deepening the topic in a fun and individual way. From the best submissions and additional content, a short educational and motivational film will be developed and produced in cooperation with the young people.
